Planning a bathroom or kitchen remodel in Wimberley TX? Wimberley Plumbing Services handles the plumbing side from start to finish: rough-ins, fixture installation, and final connections. Licensed, reliable, and on budget.

Remodeling plumbing requires coordination, timing, and a plumber who shows up when they say they will. JD and his crew have handled bathroom and kitchen remodel plumbing across the Hill Country for years, working alongside contractors and homeowners to get the job done right.

“I had a whole house filter installed and, as usual, Chris was great and did an excellent job. He was quick, efficient, gave me simple instructions, and left the area thoroughly clean. I use Wimberley Plumbing for anything having to do with water. I have never been disappointed!”

What to Expect

  • Written estimates before any work begins
  • Coordination with your contractor or general contractor
  • Rough-in and finish plumbing available
  • Fixture installation and upgrade service

Rough In and Finish

Remodel plumbing happens in two visits. Rough in runs the supply, drain, and vent lines to where the new fixtures are going, and it has to be done and inspected before anyone closes a wall. Finish comes after the tile and cabinets: setting fixtures, final connections, testing.

Rough in has to pass inspection before the walls close, so it sets the schedule for everything after it. That is the main reason to bring a plumber in earlier than feels necessary.

Timing Your Remodel

The gap between those two visits is where remodel schedules go wrong. If we know your tile date, we can work backward from it. Getting called after the drywall is up to move a drain line is the expensive version of this job, and one conversation at the start avoids it.

Moving Fixtures

This is where the real work lives. Sliding a vanity a few feet or turning a tub into a walk in shower means relocating drains and vents, not just supply lines. Drains need slope and venting, and that is what decides whether a layout is simple or a project. If you are weighing two layouts, ask before you commit. One is often meaningfully cheaper for reasons a floor plan does not show.

Kitchens

Sink and disposal relocations, dishwasher and ice maker lines, pot fillers. If the remodel adds fixtures, it is worth checking whether your water heater was sized for them, during planning rather than after the first cold shower.

We work alongside your general contractor or directly with you, whichever the project calls for.
